VH1 to Broadcast “Concert for Diana”
It has been almost 10 years since Princess Diana died in a fiery car crash as she was being chased by the paparazzi. Her sons,
Princes William and Harry, are planning a benefit concert in her honor on July 1st, which would have been Diana’s 46th birthday. Some big name acts are booked including her close personal friend Elton John, Duran Duran, and performances of songs written by Andrew Lloyd Weber. The Princes have rented out Wembley Stadium in Britain for the event, and the tickets sold out in less than 30 minutes. All proceeds from the concert will go to support Princess Diana’s favorite charities. Members of the British royal family, including Camilla Parker Bowles–the woman Charles was allegedly cheating on Diana with–are expected to attend. The concert will be broadcast on NBC and VH1 for the rest of us who couldn’t get a ticket.

Duran Duran you say? Hmm, might just have to tune in for this one! I’ll keep my comments about Camilla to myself though.
