Previously on The Pickup Artist, Mystery teaches the guys how to make out with women and Kosmo actually does after winning a reward of Mystery telling him what to do in the club via an earpiece. Scott went home.

This week starts off with the guys waiting to see who was eliminated. They all celebrated when they saw Pradeep come down the stairs. He was surprised they were all happy to see him and Kosmo said he’d never been happier to see an Indian in his life. Pradeep tells them all he doesn’t want to get in the way of their success and is thinking about quitting after the next lesson so none of them have to go home. Joe W. says it’s a slap in the face that Pradeep thinks he’s better than the rest of them.

Kosmo is wondering what the next lesson will be as he recaps the other lessons they have been through. Mystery comes to the house and tells them body language is very important. He tells them they all have insecurities with their bodies and from this point forward, they are all 10s. The teachers have invited some women over for a pool party and the student who demonstrates the best overall body language will win the challenge. Of course, they will all be wearing speedos. Joe D. is excited about it and Kosmo says he’s allergic to speedos and he’ll never be able to do it. The winner will receive something that will give them a “leg up” in the next field test.

Brady is confused as to why Kosmo is freaking out because he has the best body. Joe D. says he was excited and just likes to have a great time. Kosmo has serious body issues and has no idea how Joe D. is so comfortable at his size. Joe D. parades around and dances with his speedo up his butt crack. Kosmo says he won’t wear the speedo. The other guys try to convince him to take off his pants while they all parade around and dance. Kosmo comes out of the bathroom and runs through the house in his speedo.

The guys all head out to the pool where the girls are waiting. The girls all giggle at the speedos and Brady says he was feigning confidence. Joe D. said he knew he had to make a splash because no girl was going to come up to him. Joe W. is happy his butt showed up with its A game. Pradeep makes up a story about getting his speedo from a Navajo man. He then uses some lines on a girl and it works as he gets a kiss on the cheek.

Mystery and the wingmen watch from the balcony and are surprised Joe D. was so comfortable and that Kosmo wasn’t in the main position of the set in the hot tub like Joe D. was. Pradeep gets mad at Joe D. for taking his target away and confronts Joe later about it. Joe apologizes and says he didn’t know. Mystery spots a blonde across the pool and wants to know why no one is talking with her. She starts talking to Kosmo and he loosens up and forgets he’s uncomfortable.

Mystery calls the guys inside and tells them that the women were just as uncomfortable in their bathing suits. He declares Joe D. the winner and Pradeep is mad because he thinks Joe stole his target. Joe D. is so happy that he won and it really boosted his confidence. His reward is that he gets to use Naquito the puppy dog in the next field challenge. Mystery says Naquito is a chick magnet and Joe D. is so excited. Pradeep is proud of himself nonetheless for walking around in a speedo and still have women interested in him. Kosmo is also proud he got out of his comfort zone in this challenge.

Later, Pradeep is lying down and Joe D. brings Naquito over to see him. The rest of the guys come to tell Pradeep not to quit. He tells them he’s just ready to go and it’s too hard. He doesn’t want to stay there if it means the other guys have to go home. The guys assure him that they don’t want to be there if they don’t earn it over him. They tell Pradeep not to do them any favors and he needs to stay. Joe D. tells him to think about how far he’s come and to respect himself and stay.

The guys join Mystery for their lesson and Kosmo says he’s never been happier to go to school in his life. Mystery tells them about “day game” and that clubs aren’t the only place to pick up beautiful women. He tells them a story about picking up a woman at a grocery store. Day game and night game are different, and day game happens more slowly than night game does. J-Dog teaches the guys about approach invitations and how to recognize those cues. Mystery tells them not to go out specifically to pick up girls during the day, but while they’re out doing their errands, they might get to pick up a girl as well. The guys will be going to a coffee shop to pick up girls and whoever does the best will win immunity.

The next day, they head out to the field test. Mystery expects them to build attraction and close numbers. Joe D. has Naquito with him and is 100% confident. Mystery meets the guys in an alley near the coffee shop and tells them he expects to see pickup artists today. They all head for the shop and Joe D. heads in first. Naquito gets a girl right away, but Joe D. pushes it too hard and the girl walks away. Brady easily opens up a set and starts a conversation. Joe W. talks with some girls and the teachers like what he’s doing at first, but they aren’t impressed with him watering down the conversation.

Pradeep does really well opening up a set and then Kosmo notices he is just sitting there and freezing. He finally picks a target and opens them, but then loses them. Pradeep had a girl talking with him, but he left when she answered her phone, which Mystery says is a good thing. Brady is still doing well, but Mystery says he doesn’t know where to go after building attraction. Pradeep is doing perfectly according to the teachers, but then gets too comfortable in the conversation. Joe W. gets asked if he’s straight and then he gets up and leaves, which Mystery thinks is a botched set.

Kosmo talks with some girls and then leaves them wanting more. Mystery and the wingmen are disappointed in Joe D. only making casual conversation and not progressing. Pradeep ends perfectly by getting a girl’s number and all of the guys head to the alley to meet Mystery. They are told there were some great things and some bad things that happened. Pradeep is declared the winner of the challenge and is immune from elimination. However, he can only choose one wingman this evening.

They all start packing and talking about how they all need to win and what more they have to do. Kosmo thinks Pradeep will save Brady and they are all sad that anyone has to leave. Joe D. doesn’t want to go home because there is much more he wants to improve.

They head down to the elimination room and Mystery asks if they are doing okay. Joe D. tells him they are stressed and it’s nerve wracking. Kosmo thanks them for teaching him the lessons and he’s grateful for how they’ve helped him. Joe W. says it is an eye opening experience and Joe D. starts tearing up when thinks about who he used to be and how great it is to feel good about himself. They all start crying and Mystery tells them it’s about more than picking up girls. It’s about building a life.

Level 4’s medallion symbolizes the harvest. Pradeep is given his medallion for winning the field test. Mystery then tells them that there will be no wingmen tonight and the teachers will be the bad guys. They send Pradeep off and then Mystery says he sees potential for a master in Kosmo. Kosmo cries as he takes his medallion and leaves. The rest of the guys are sniffling as Mystery gives the next medallion to Joe D. for being confident in his opening and body language. It comes down to Brady and Joe W.

Mystery asks Matador why or why not they should keep Joe W. He tells Joe that he’s done a great job, but he needs more sincerity in his “performance”. J-Dog tells Brady that he’s showing a lot of progress and he’s pleased. Mystery tells them that they can both open sets, but one of them has hit a plateau and the other keeps showing progress. He tells them how hard it is to make a decision and then offers the medallion to Brady. The guys hug and Joe W. leaves the house. His clips play and he says the biggest thing he’s learned about himself is that he wasn’t content with who he was and wants to have a lady in his life. He says he’ll be taking women out 3-4 times a week.

Next week, they sit down for a lesson in lingerie with Leia and Tara modeling. Pradeep slaps Joe D. and he decides he wants Pradeep gone. We’re down to the final 4 and one more will leave next time.
