This season, Mystery took a rag tag bunch of fellas and turned them into charismatic, confident men. They learned all sorts of openers and closer and even picked up an exotic dancer. It’s now time for the final challenge and to see who will become the Master Pickup Artist and travel with Mystery and the wingmen to teach others how to pick up women.
This week we start off with Brady waiting to see who will join him in the final two. When Kosmo comes around the corner, they hug for a long time and Kosmo is grateful he’s still there. He says he’s starting to feel like he has a purpose and he doesn’t remember what it was like before they got there. Brady says they removed everything from their lives. They talk about knowing who they are more and more every day they are there.
The next morning, Kosmo is feeling good and he’s ready to go toe to toe with Brady. He asks Brady what’s going on in his mind when he says they are the final 2. Brady tells him he’s much more confident now that he’s picked up an exotic dancer. He wants Kosmo to think of him as a threat. Kosmo says he’s going to fight for the money and to travel with Mystery.
Mystery calls them and tells them there is one more challenge for them, but first they are all going to celebrate in the field together. He says he’ll pick them up at 9. Kosmo thinks there will be 400 models in the yard waiting to have sex with him. Kosmo thinks they will just go out to party that night, but Brady is skeptical that there isn’t more to it.
Mystery picks them up in a limo and Kosmo hopes there is no ulterior motive to the night. Mystery tells them he will reveal their final mission soon, but he wants them to just have fun. He wants to hang out with them without having to judge them. Kosmo says he feels untouchable with Mystery there by his side. He easily opens a set and so does Brady. He says he had a great time just relaxing and using the tools. Matador says they did beautiful and he had a great time just hanging with the guys. J-Dog says they all had women all over them and they all had a great time.
Mystery pulls the guys aside later and asks them if they see their old selves in some of the guys there in the club. They admit the ones by themselves stick out like a sore thumb. Mystery points out two guys in particular and tells Kosmo and Brady that those wallflowers will be their final challenge. They hop in the limo and Mystery tells them the students will become the teachers and the next day they will take those two guys and teach them all the tricks. The following night, they will go back to that same club. The new guys will have Kosmo and Brady in their ear to help them in the field challenge. Kosmo hates the challenge because now some random guy holds his destiny in his hands.
The next day, Kosmo goes to meet up with his guy, Kip, and calls him a computer nerd and he doesn’t want to teach him because there is too much to learn. Kip is 32 and he says the Find a Girlfriend store is always out of his size when he goes there. Komso takes him shopping to pick out some new outfits for that night. He lets Kip try on some things first, but then takes charge. Meanwhile, Brady takes his guy to the salon to get his weird hair cut. His name is Dylan and he’s 25 and builds arcade machines. His hair is some strange combover mullet, but he gets it cut into a normal look. Brady takes him to pick out an outfit and he choose something see through himself. Brady is still confident, though.
Brady takes Dylan back to the mansion and sees Kip and Kosmo. Brady decides to give Dylan even more of a makeover after seeing Kip and makes him shave his beard, spike up his hair, and put on some bronzer. He actually looks pretty good when Brady gets done with him. Downstairs, Kip is having trouble with opening lines and Kosmo overwhelms him with technical jargon and Kip gets frustrated. Brady works with Dylan and he’s a bit socially awkward, but he’s picking up the steps well. Brady is just worried about his approach anxiety. Both new guys get dressed for the field test and they look good. Dylan seems to have more confidence than Kip at this point, but both Kosmo and Brady are confident in their teaching.
Mystery tells us you can’t be considered a Master Pickup Artist until you are able to teach other guys the lessons. Mystery, the wingmen, and Tara and Leia meet Kosmo and Brady and their students in the alley. J-Dog and Matador will be entering the club to watch Kip and Dylan inside while Mystery watches from the truck with Brady and Kosmo giving instructions via the earpiece.
Brady hopes the training he gave Dylan is enough to help him in the field. Dylan enters the club and checks to make sure Brady can hear him. Dylan opens a set, but misunderstands some of Brady’s instructions and walks away. He then gets a set mad when he cusses too much. He really knows the openers and does well in one set and even bounces one girl to the couch. Mystery is happy with the progress and tells Brady he did well.
Next up is Kosmo with Kip in the field. Kosmo feeds him lines, but he has trouble executing them and loses a set. He walks around aimlessly for awhile, but he was able to open a set on the next try. He does everything Kosmo says, but he just doesn’t have the confidence yet, so he leaves the set. Mystery tells him that Brady’s student was able to bounce a set to the VIP couch and that worries Kosmo. He just jumps in and tries to relax Kip. It seems to work and Kip gets a two-set and bounces both ladies over the couch. Kip got a number closer and Kosmo was pleased.
In the alley a short time later, the Mystery congratulates both Kosmo and Brady for a job well done. Kosmo and Brady both said their students exceeded their expectations. Matador tells Brady his student did very well opening up a lot of sets and Kosmo’s student seemed to have more charged conversations and sexual chemistry with his targets. J-Dog called Brady’s student “predatory” and said it was great how many sets he opened and he also gives Kosmo kudos for his student’s quality sets he opened and closed. Mystery is proud of both of them and tells them they both have what it takes to be Master Pickup Artists, but he can only choose 1. Brady says he just has to win, and Kosmo says he needs this.
Mystery drags out the announcement by talking again about what they did that night. He tells Kosmo he’s overcome his obstacles by having his student number closing and focusing on targets. The negatives were that his asking too many questions, didn’t use multiple threads, and his roll offs were bad. Brady gets props for opening sets, entertaining them, and bouncing to the couch. The negatives were that Dylan didn’t have attraction to his target, and Brady kept telling him to roll off and he only had one opening line, really.
Mystery shows them the final medallion which stands for the end of a journey and the beginning of a new one. He tells them he’d choose both of them if he could and he’s made his final decision. Both guys get teary eyed waiting to hear who won. He asks if Kosmo has any final words. He says he loves them and they changed his life forever. Brady’s final words are that it was awesome and he had the time of his life. Mystery says they both have shown a great deal of talent, but only one person will win the final medallion and $50,000. He welcomes the winner into his social circle. Kosmo is named the Pickup Artist and he starts crying and hugging Brady. He just stands there staring at Mystery as he tells Kosmo to feel how much love he’s brought everyone. Kosmo says it’s the proudest moment of his life. Mystery tells them it’s time to celebrate and they all head back into the club.
Kosmo says everything about him and he knows his soul now. He wants women to know he’s not a jerk or a pimp, but he’s a pickup artist and there’s a difference. He says his whole life people have been putting him down because of his heritage and being poor. He feels like he’s not a loser anymore and he’s accomplished something.
