It was a busy CelebReality night on VH1. Not only did we narrow it down to the final three on The Pickup Artist, there were TWO new episodes of Mission: Man Band, including the season finale. Who went home this week? Check out my Pickup Artist recap, after the jump. For the Mission: Man Band recap, you can visit the RealityShack where it is posted.

Previously on The Pickup Artist, the guys donned speedos and took on the world and each other. Joe W. left at elimination, and we’re down to the final four.

This week starts with the guys hugging Brady as he joins them in the safe lounge. The others are very surprised that Joe W. didn’t make it, as he was one of their favorites. Kosmo thought for sure it was going to be him and Joe W. at the end and cries now that he’s gone. Joe D. gives a rousing pep talk about giving 100% to honor Joe W. He decides he’s going to not only break through the walls he previously put up, he’s going to shatter them and become the master pick up artist.

The next morning, Mystery tells the guys the night before was tough, but he’s got a fun surprise for them. Joe D. tells us it’s time to learn about foreplay and what comes after attraction. Mystery tells the guys that Tara and Leia will be hosting a lingerie party for them and he knows they will be distracted, but they have to pay attention. The girls come out in their lingerie and Kosmo strains to keep himself in check.

Leia tells them about what a corset is, which Pradeep declares as “neat”. There are lots of deep breaths and some role playing outfits. Tara talks about thongs vs. boy shorts and the guys try to keep it together as the girls bend and stretch. Mystery interrupts the fun and tells the guys they have to now have to go and buy Tara and Leia some lingerie. The one who makes the most favorable impression with their gifts will win Matador as a wingman in the field test. This motivates the guys to do their best and try to remember what the girls told them about what they liked.

The contestants head to the lingerie store. Joe D. and Brady are to shop for Leia, and Pradeep and Kosmo go to buy for Tara. Kosmo asks a saleslady questions about see through boy shorts and Pradeep wants a santa hat to go with his outfit. Brady remembers Leia saying she liked hot pink and Joe D. says he used to work in retail so he had an idea of what he wanted to get her. Kosmo seems confused when he sees a bra and has trouble picking something out.

They drop off their gifts and the girls go through them. Tara gets a teddy with a snap open crotch for easy access, and Leia is unsure if one of the outfits will fit, but her other one is the right size. Later, Mystery gathers the guys together to find out who won and reiterates how important it is to listen to a woman and her wants. Mystery tells the guys there is only one woman behind the door with the lingerie on and that will be the winner. Leia comes out wearing Joe’s outfit and Mystery tells him he did an excellent job and will win Matador as a wing.

Controversy erupts later when Pardeep slaps Joe across the mouth when he was goofing around. Joe gets pissed off and walks away. Kosmo tells Pradeep that he hit him too hard and Pradeep goes off to see what’s wrong. Joe tells him to apologize, but Pradeep refuses to because he thinks it was all just a joke. Pradeep walks away and Joe and blows up at him for not apologizing. Kosmo confronts Pradeep about hiding behind a joke and never paying attention. Joe declares that he’s done with Pradeep and Pradeep lies down and eggs him on more.

The guys head downstairs and everyone is pissed off about the situation as they walk in for their lesson. Mystery asks Kosmo what’s wrong and he says he just can’t be happy right now. Mystery says he needs to put it aside so he can learn about women. The lesson is about jumping locations with the target, or “bouncing” to have an instant date. This can include just the target, or her entire group, going to a new hot spot or location. J-Dog tells them that by taking girls to other places will create more comfort and more memories quickly. Their goal for the field test is to bounce a target, creating an instant date. Joe is worried because he hasn’t kissed a girl when he was sober since Jr. High. Pradeep is confident he can do this.

As they get ready for the field test, Kosmo runs his lines and admonishes himself when he does something wrong. Brady is worried because he’s been on the chopping block quite a few times and he needs to step it up. Pradeep talks to Joe and apologizes, which Joe accepts but then he just walks away, pissing off Pradeep. He wants to talk more about it, but Joe wants to focus on his game.

The guys meet Mystery, the wingmen, and the girls in the alley. Mystery tells them their goal is to bounce a target from the club to a café across the street. Joe will get help in the form of Matador as his wingman. He’s ready to go and is certain he can do it with Matador there with him. They head into the club as Mystery and J-Dog watch from the truck.

Joe and Matador talk with each other to create value and then open a set. Kosmo does a great job with his open and Mystery declares him sitting as “lovely”. Brady talks to a group of guys first and leads all of them into a set of girls. Mystery thinks it’s great what they are all doing. Joe is doing great with a girl and light hearted Kino, until Pradeep shows up and butts into his set. Mystery is mad he’s doing that to his buddy. Pradeep then blows the set for both of them when the girl walks away in a huff when Pradeep calls her a drunkard. Mystery is mad at him at this point. He goes over to a new set and Mystery thinks the girl is gorgeous and Pradeep is in over his head, but he opens the set with no problems.

Kosmo is still going strong and gets a drink bought for him. Meanwhile, Pradeep’s set is trying to get away from him, but he follows them and they tell him they’ll buy him a shot if he won’t tell them more stories. The girls run away to the bathroom and leave him behind waiting for shots. Brady opens another large set with ease as Pradeep is still waiting for the shots of the girls that ran away. Joe opens another set of girls and guys and Matador comes and occupies the guys for him like a good wingman does. Unfortunately, he fails to keep his target’s attention. Brady has good Kino with a girl, but she and her friends start to leave before he can suggest the bounce. Kosmo, on the other hand, takes a girl on each arm to the café.

Mystery gathers the guys in the alley and tells them they all did a good job at one point or another, but only Kosmo was able to bounce and therefore is immune. There will be no wingmen this week. The next day, the guys are all sitting around waiting for elimination. Pradeep packs and the other three decide Pradeep should be going home. They all feel vulnerable, however, because of poor performances.

At elimination, Mystery tells them some of them are starting to click and others are stumbling. He tells them that overall, they let him down in the last field test. He expected them all to succeed, but only Kosmo did. This week’s blue medallions symbolize enlightenment and clarity. Kosmo takes his medallion and leaves the room.

J-Dog tells Brady he had a slow start to the program, but he’s seeing immense progress in his game. Matador tells Joe he went in and cleared the path for him, but he needs to fix the attraction part of his game. Mystery tells Pradeep he stayed in the set way too long and he was oblivious to the girls wanting to leave. He tells Pradeep he has to work on his listening skills. Mystery gives the next medallion to someone who has been doing their homework—Brady. He takes it and smiles as he goes to the safe room.

There is only one medallion left, and it comes down to Pradeep and Joe. Mystery tells them that both of them have come a long way from day 1. He asks Pradeep how his life will change if he leaves tonight. Pradeep says he has the tools now, and he’ll practice. Joe says he will have a life beyond his parents’ basement and video games. Mystery says the person who will get the medallion is very creative and people seem to enjoy him, but he needs to improve if he wants to stay until the end. Joe takes his medallion and walks out of the room. Pradeep graciously leaves and has trouble getting the door open on his way out. As his clips play, he says he’s a little empty but he’s ready to implement the new confidence he has.

Next time, they have to get a phone number from a girl walking across a bridge. Their field test is to pick up an exotic dancer and someone progresses beyond belief.
