Watching VH1

Did you catch the new CelebReality on VH1 episodes today of “Celebrity Fit Club”, “Charm School”, and “The Springer Hustle”? Well, luckily for you, I did! After the jump, you can get recaps of all three shows. This week, find out how the Celebrity Fit Club contestants did at their first weight loss weigh-in and team competition. Get ready for some high fashion as the ladies of “Charm School” strut their stuff in a catwalk and design competition. How did Toby do in his “last chance” to produce a good show on “The Springer Hustle”? Find out after the jump!

Celebrity Fit Club–

This week’s episode starts out at Fit Camp, which is a long hike with compasses, backpacks, maps, and clues to find their right way. They get some training on the compass and Dustin brags how he has been using a compass since he was little. The winners will get workout equipment. The teams start off and come across team building exercises along the way. The girls get lost, but Warren needs a breather, so they cross at the summit and are tied. The women get caught up at a team building activity and the men win. Dustin is an ass about it as usual.

The women have to cook dinner for everyone since they lost the challenge. Dustin tells his team he refuses to get down to 187 lbs. because he doesn’t want to be Screech again and Ross lectures him about trying hard for the team. Brat makes the mistake about asking Dustin about his porn tape. No one is impressed as he drones on and on about it and everyone stops listening. He’s mad no one cares. He tells Maureen he’s really close to leaving the show.

Maureen and Ross go to talk to him and he says he doesn’t want to spend 16 weeks getting bashed by other people. He thinks Kimberley isn’t as much of a “star” as the rest of them. He feels left out because no one pays attention to him when he’s talking. Ross goes back to the guys and says he doesn’t gossip but tells them what’s going on. Cledus doesn’t have sympathy and Warren says either stay or just go already. Dustin doesn’t think Cledus cares about him and Cledus says Dustin started it all with jokes about Kim’s pizza addiction. Apparently, during the challenge, Dustin told his team they needed to slow down so they get more TV time but he denies it when Cledus calls him out about it. Cledus tries to explain about calling him Screech and Dustin is rude about it saying people who can’t separate reality from TV need help.

At the weigh in, Ant asks Kim right away about the dinner fiasco. Dustin said his feelings were hurt. Brat doesn’t like him. Dustin weighs in first. He’s at 208 lbs. He lost 9 lbs. which is more than his 5 lbs. goal. Dr. Ian calls him out for BSing in his journal about what he ate because there is no way to eat like that and still lose 9 lbs. Stacy pulls out fleeces Dustin made for the team and asks how he feels now that they said they don’t like him. He says he’s not going to force relationships. His next goal is another 5 lbs.

Warren becomes the team captain of the “Regulators” after voting for himself. All the girls agree that Kim will be their captain of the “Shady Lady Bunch”. Kim weighs first and she’s down to 167 lbs. meaning she lost 9 lbs. The girls are thrilled. Kim says she’s been really disciplined and proud of herself. She also has a new boyfriend. Harvey asks how she’s going to motivate her team and she says they are very motivated. Her next goal is 4 lbs.

Ross is up next and he went boxing with Warren this week. He claims to be the third grade jump rope champ and then proceeds to miss every jump. He likes the red gloves that look like muppets and he hums “Eye of the Tiger” as he throws some sissy punches. Ross’s new weight is 199 lbs. and he lost 15 lbs.! He says he lost a big baby. He’s so excited to break the 100’s barrier. He says he’s got a strength he didn’t know he had it and now he’s breaking down walls and feeling tingly. His next goal is 4 lbs.

Warren goes next weighing in at 209 lbs. (he lost 12 lbs.). Dr. Ian outs Warren for calling him to ask if he can have fried chicken and cognac. Harvey tells him that he’s the captain and to keep Dustin in line. He gets a new goal of 4 lbs.

Maureen steps up to the scale. She now weighs 139 lbs., losing 11 lbs. She feels really good. Stacy asks Maureen about being bulimic in high school and for 10 years after. Her next goal is 4 lbs.

Tiffany’s turn to weigh in shows she has lost 9 lbs. and is down to 143 lbs. Dr. Ian is amazed she’s not happy with 9 lbs. Stacy noticed Tiffany’s face went sour when Ant mentioned her Playboy spread. She wants everyone to know she’s there to get healthy and not to be a centerfold again. Harvey asks about her workout routine and tells her that her goal is 4 lbs. for the next show.

Cledus gets up and weighs 202 lbs. losing 12 lbs. He’s happy with that and says the detox almost killed him. Dr. Ian says he wasn’t doing the detox as it was written and he needs to eat more. Stacy went with Cleus to the grocery store to help him get over his fear. He feels a bit better now and thinks he can do it. His next goal is 4 lbs.

Brat goes next. She lost 8 lbs. and is down to 164 lbs. She’s very happy and does a little dance. She enlightens all of us about her flatulence problem on the new foods. Stacy asks Brat about Dustin. She calls him out for being there only wanting camera time. Harvey sets her goal at 5 lbs. for the next weigh in.

Ant gives Dustin a chance to defend himself. He says he’s not there to prove anything to anyone and he listens to what his body tells him. Brat fake snores and Dustin says that’s what he means about the environment and Brat says she’s there to lose weight, not the cameras. She tells Dustin he’s looking like a giant ass on television. Dustin has a private interview where he says some things about Brat, Cledus, and especially Kim who he says if she drowned he wouldn’t lose any sleep.

The giant scale tells us that the men lost more weight this week, but since they are going by weight loss percentage this year and the giant scale moves to show the ladies are in the lead (but just barely).

Next week: Dustin seems to quit the show after being called out by several of the contestants and the panel of experts. We’ll see if that sticks, but I have a feeling we’re not that lucky.

Charm School–

Commandment 4 is “Thou shalt work what thou art working with”. Mo tells them to dress to impress and it’s all about fashion. Cristal says she’s going simple to prove she’s listening. Saaphyri’s nipples are hanging out of her dress. Mo doesn’t think the girls know what “dress to impress” means. Mikki and Timothy Snell are giving the girls fashion advice. Saaphyri says winning the money will buy her some style. They say Becky stayed true to herself and her urban style. They also say Schatar knows how to dress herself and the other girls confess they think she’s a mess. The experts want to tone down Saaphyri’s look. Timothy tells them not to show everything and leave a little to the imagination by showing some sexy back.

The teachers then try to teach about Couture, and Courtney says she doesn’t know what it is because they don’t sell it at Walmart. They are to put together a fashion show. Schatar says she will sail through the entire Charm School competition by winning immunity every challenge. They will be broken into teams and need to come up with a Couture look. Each person will have a job (model, hair, makeup, and 2 designers). One girl will be the honorary judge and have immunity. They have to vote for the one person who will be the judge. Much fighting ensues, but eventually Courtney gets the judge position.

Cristal refuses to be the model for her team because that’s why she ended up on the carpet last week. Saaphyri decides she’s going to put together a team while the others fight. Courtney the judge and Brooke are best friends, so the other team gets upset. Cristal, Darra, Brooke, Becky, and Jennifer talk about things and they decide to use Darra because they think Mo will be easier on Darra than the professional Cristal, who will be the designer since that’s what she went to college for. The teams go to pick out their materials. Leilene doesn’t want to show a lot of skin because she doesn’t want to go back to her stripper days. However, she wants to wear what Larissa identifies as a stripper dress.

Cristal decides to go with feathers and free flowing for Darra’s look. They all take the curtains from the living room and cut fringe off of pillows to make Darra’s dress. Becky complains that Jennifer isn’t helping at all. Meanwhile, Schatar picks out what she calls a giraffe print for Leilene’s dress while the other team works on showing off Darra’s positives. Schatar decides to spy on the other team as they tape up Darra’s dress and Schatar isn’t worried at all. Saaphyri and Larissa also go to spy and decide Darra’s dress is horrible and it makes her look like a tamale. Jennifer and Becky take a smoke break and decide they have it in the bag since Brooke and Courtney are best friends.

The next morning, both teams get up early to start working on their models. However, Jennifer is still in bed snoring. Leilene has crazy fake gems glued to her face. Keith tells them Leilene’s makeup makes her look like a corpse in an African safari dress. He tells the other team he doesn’t see the entire team working. Cristal starts taping up Darra to keep her stomach and other parts in. Courtney gives a 13 minute warning to both teams. Saaphyri thinks their dress is awesome.

Mo had a runway set up in the Grand Hall and Schatar introduces her team’s design. Leilene works the runway and plays the part of a Japanese garden mistress as designed. Jennifer thinks her team doesn’t have a chance. Becky introduces Darra and her team’s outfit. Larissa says she looked like a chocolate big bird in her outfit. There is a nice close up shot of Darra’s sweaty back. The other team laughs.

Mo calls everyone back out onto the catwalk. The judges ask questions about Leilene’s dress and are impressed with their team’s answers. Keith gives Leilene a compliment about her walking. They ask Jennifer about the design of Darra’s dress and she can’t answer any questions. Mo tears that team apart about the design and dress. Keith accuses them of using Darra’s size to manipulate Mo. Mo and Keith tell Cristal she missed her opportunity. Darra is crying through the feathers on her eyelashes and Mikki tells her they commend her on having the courage to be the muse. They tell Courtney she’s the judge and to decide. She picks Leilene’s team and they are all safe.

After the competition, Cristal heads into Mo’s office and cries about how the dress was Becky and Jennifer’s decision, not hers. Mo tells her it was a team effort and so it isn’t all about her. After she leaves, however, Mo says she knows that was a cop out. Cristal immediately goes to Brooke and tells her what she did and then Brooke tells Jennifer. Jennifer confronts Cristal and she just says she was being honest.

At the elimination ceremony, Cristal says she deserves to be there because she worked her ass off no matter what the dress ended up looking like. Becky gets called down to the carpet and she’s not surprised since she knows Cristal blamed things on her. Jennifer is next and she’s shocked, and then Cristal joins them on the carpet. Keith tells Cristal she needed to be the model and he calls Jennifer the most pathetic. He then says he’s sad to see Becky there, but she was part of the dress. Becky tells him that she knows that, but she was fooled by Cristal’s false confidence.

Mo says that since this is her Charm School, she’s going to break protocol and send Becky back and she’s safe. She then asks Jennifer why Cristal should leave and Jennifer starts talking about how she was good at the obstacle course. Mo didn’t like how she avoided the question, but Cristal was happy to elaborate on how Jennifer did nothing to contribute and Mo sent Jennifer home. Jennifer said she was very surprised and didn’t understand and that Cristal is selfish and shouldn’t still be there. Mo ends the session by telling Darra to put the curtains back up in the living room.

Next week is Charm School Girls Gone Wild! Bar fights! Making out with random guys! Lots of bleeped out words and screaming! Dancing on the tables! Fighting with Mo! Bring it on!

The Springer Hustle–

This week, we start off by following Nicole, another producer at the Jerry Springer Show. Her show is unusual couples who can’t stop fighting. Richard compliments Nicole’s mellow and bizarre sense of humor. She seems like such a sweet girl. In contrast, Toby is still mucking it up. We get a quick recap of last week’s show that Toby messed up. He’s worried he’s going to get fired. He gets an idea to do a tape show with Steve as a bounty hunter.

It’s STEVE! I love Steve. He said he was supposed to be on the Springer show for one day, but they liked him so much that he’s been there for 11 years. Toby gets a hold of a real bounty hunter to follow around and help collar a child molester. Richard calls him and Steve in to his office and basically he gets his idea completely ripped apart by Richard and Steve. Toby wants to stake out the criminal and Steve and Richard tell him no way and that he’ll get shot or the criminal will get away because he’s a producer, not a cop. Toby wears his bulletproof vest around the office and plays with a cap gun.

Meanwhile, Nicole preps her guests—a homeless guy who only married his case worker for a place to stay. She thinks the homeless guy was brutally honest and a great character. She pumps excitement into the guests and connects with both of them.

Toby goes and gets his equipment for the bounty hunting as Rachelle complains about how much money he’s spent on signs and equipment without having a good idea for a story. Richard gets some bounty hunters to go with Toby and get everything for him so he doesn’t screw it up. Toby jumps in his car and heads to the criminal’s house for surveillance by trick or treating at his house on Halloween. They dress up as clowns and go to his house. They get some footage of the perp, or they at least think it’s him. Toby’s really excited, but then he gets a call that they were at the wrong house. Richard yells at him some more and Toby cries saying that God hates him.

The next morning, Toby gets word of a sighting of the guy they were chasing. He goes to tell Steve the news and Steve is not impressed. Richard tells them to go out and see if they can get the guy. The perp’s girlfriend had just given birth, so Toby and Steve stake out the hospital. It’s also Nicole’s show day and she gets aggressive. Nicole says Billy the homeless guy was lovable even though he’s a bum that’s using his wife. The wife goes out and starts beating on him.

Steve totally isn’t taking the bounty hunting seriously so he just gives Toby a hard time. The perp comes along and picks up his girlfriend and baby and the parade of bounty hunter cars follow the suspect and then they all lose him at a stoplight. Steve decides to go home at that point. He doesn’t think Toby will make it. Richard chews out Toby yet again for spending $50,000 to get nothing that can air. He orders him to get back to the studio and figure out a real show for next week. Richard even blocks out the cameras for their meeting. Toby has been demoted to Nicole’s associate producer indefinitely. She promises that Toby will be her bitch.

Next week: Selina has to produce a Pay-Per-View wild show. All I have to say is midget drag queens. Ah, Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!
