It’s time for a man shower in Las Vegas! Can Scott avoid spending too much money now that he’s a penny pincher worried about the cost of raising a child? Let’s not forget Johnny V is in charge of this man shower, so what do you think? Find out for sure in the recap after the jump.

Last time, Scott went home to visit his hometown and old friends to figure out what kind of father he wanted to be. He got the same advice from everyone—just love the baby and its mother and everything will be fine.

This week we start out with Scott and Renee driving to the doctor for their last appointment before the baby is due. He is not thrilled when he finds out about an episiotomy. They do an ultrasound and he sees his baby’s face in the 3D ultrasound. It renders him speechless. It freaks him out that he’ll be responsible for someone other than himself for the first time. As they drive home, Scott tells Renee he’s having anxiety attacks.

Scott then has to go to his Daddy to Be class. They are discussing how much it costs to raise a child. Scott flips out that it could cost him over a quarter of a million dollars to raise a kid up to 17 years old. Scott decides the kid will be getting a job instead of going to college. He’s worried that he will have to get a part time job in order to raise the baby.

Scott decides it’s time to start practicing saving money. Instead of their usual driving range trip, they hit a miniature golf course to save money. The guys decide to throw Scott a man shower in Las Vegas while Renee has her baby shower. They promise to pay for everything for him and make sure Renee is okay with it.

When Scott gets home, Renee introduces him to the wedding planner. He freaks out about how much it will cost. Renee wants simple and elegant and Scott freaks out when he hears the wedding cake will cost about $600. The wedding planner wants to look at flowers with them on the weekend, but Renee is having her baby shower and Scott springs the man shower on her right there which makes her mad. He assures her his friends are paying for him.

The guys land in Vegas as Renee’s baby shower wraps up. Scott is happy to get away from everything at home. Jason’s brother and another friend join them on the man shower. Johnny V ordered up some stuff to Scott’s room that Scott has to pay for now. He promises he will make it up to Scott. They go to a greasy spoon diner for dinner since Johnny V is running the show. Scott calls Renee at home and asks what kind of good stuff they got at the shower and gets frustrated that he has to put some of the stuff together.

They left the diner and head out for the rest of their night. Scott promises himself he won’t gamble. They go to a club at 9:30 and it’s not open yet. They head off to a casino instead and Scott doesn’t want to gamble. He decides he’ll sit there and drink a beer anyway. The guys play some roulette as Scott drinks alone at the bar and he calls Renee who is going to buy a $300 crib as he orders another shot. His friends go over to find him drunk and then he wants to gamble after all. He trades his Rolex for a $5000 chip and puts it all on his birthday at the roulette wheel. Of course, he loses all of his money.

Since Scott lost so much money, they let him into the VIP area of the club they tried to go to earlier. The other guys drink and do shots as Scott sulks and tries to avoid spending any more money. They toast to the man shower and Johnny V wants him to buy a round for everyone which makes Scott mad. He tells his friends that he doesn’t want to do this any more and wants to go. They try to change his mind and Johnny V gets mad. He leaves and goes back to his room to have a video conference on his computer with Renee. She tells him he looks like David Hasselhoff eating his cheeseburger on YouTube right now. He tells her he lost $5000 and she says that money isn’t everything and he doesn’t believe it. Scott tells Renee to put her belly on the screen and he talked to the baby.

Scott decided that he was raised on much less money and he turned out okay. He’s happy that he has a baby on the way and he’s engaged to the love of his life who is very understanding.

Next time, Scott quits his Daddy to Be class and Doc Ali makes an appearance. They get a birthing coach and it’s time for the baby to come!
