America’s Most Smartest Model–

Previously, the models competed for props for a photoshoot and everyone fought with Andre. Pickel and Aussie Rachel won the photoshoot contest and Erika was sent packing.

After the elimination, the models go back to the house and take a bunch of tequila shots. Angela says she’ll only do body shots off of blonde Rachel and that seems to turn Rachel on. Pickel tells the camera she’s sexually frustrated. Rachel asks if there are condoms in the house and kisses VJ.

In the kitchen, Andre is trying to study when some of the contestants try to talk to him. He blows up and starts talking about Russian politics and how America isn’t a democracy. Daniel butts in and Andre doesn’t like it. Daniel says he’s not afraid of confrontation and Andre thinks he should stay out of the conversation. Andre gets angry and starts yelling at Aussie Rachel which makes everyone decide to leave the room. Aussie Rachel says she doesn’t play childish games anymore.

Blonde Rachel decides she’s going to spend the night in VJ’s bed. Pickel thinks she’s a sexual time bomb waiting to go off and makes a comment about her nipples. Blonde Rachel says when you don’t have a companion it’s nice to have someone to cuddle with. She says their connection made it nice to sleep in the same bed.

The next morning, Pickel heads to the kitchen and eats a banana. He wants a glass of orange juice, but finds a new question on the fridge with a combo lock. He can’t find a pen and paper, so he uses a knife on a banana peel to do long division. He messes up on the first one, so he has to eat another banana for more writing room and still can’t figure out the clue.

Jesse gets up and is still fretting over losing weight. He hops on the treadmill and says he has to do what he has to do to lose the weight and it’s an uphill battle. A note shows up and they are told they will have to “expand your mind to avoid expanding your waistline”. Mandy Lynn says she hates working out so she’s afraid of the challenge.

Daniel and Aussie Rachel talk about Andre and how he’s aggressive and disrespectful towards women. Andre overhears them talking and doesn’t think it’s fair that no one is talking about Daniel like that. He gets out of bed to confront Daniel and angrily yells at him about talking behind his back. Daniel says he doesn’t want to fight and Andre gets in his face. Aussie Rachel tries to tell Andre he wasn’t a part of that conversation and Andre blows up about hypocrisy. Daniel goes off about disrespecting him by getting in his face and trying to egg him into fighting. Daniel says he’s tough and strong, but it’s time for the Edge challenge so he didn’t want to engage in a fight with him.

At the challenge, Ben notices they all look tired and wonders out loud what they’ve all been doing. He says it’s time for them to expand their minds, but not their waistlines. They all have plates of food in front of them including Twinkies and celery. Andre says he has a specific diet and he plans not to eat anything. If they answer the question wrong, they have to eat the junk food, but if they are right they eat the healthy food and get a harder follow up question. If they answer the follow up correctly, they can make someone else eat their junk food. Their edge will be to eat as healthy as possible because the afternoon’s challenge is a fitness challenge and they don’t want to go in on a full stomach. Jesse is upset because he’s trying to lose weight but may be forced to eat the junk food.

Jesse goes first and gets his question right, so he munches on celery, but he misses the follow up. Ben calls Andre Comrade and he gets his question correct. He also gets the bonus question and makes Daniel eat his junk food. Andre is excited Mr. PhD eats his Twinkies. Mary Alice tells him exactly how bad they are for him. Jesse is happy and wants to see them fight. Daniel gets his questions correct and makes Jesse eat his Twinkies because it was the best for the competition. Andre comments how low it was for him to do that. Jesse calls Daniel a bitch. Others miss their questions and have to eat their Twinkies.

The next round has them eating chocolate cake. Mandy Lynn misses the age old “Which weighs more a ton of feathers or a ton of rocks” and is told to eat her cake. She won’t eat her cake and says she has a small stomach. Ben tells her she has to eat the cake quickly or she’s banned from the next challenge. The other contestants tell her to eat the damn cake. She refuses and is banned from the callback challenge. Jesse says she proved she wasn’t committed to being there. When Lisa gets her question right, she takes her cake to Andre as Mary Alice tells him how bad it is for him. Lisa says she really wanted to smear it in his face, but didn’t. Aussie Rachel also makes Andre eat her cake, as does Brett. Andre says he ate almost an entire cake and felt sick.

Round three has a stack of pancakes with a ton of syrup. Blonde Rachel again misses her question after a very long time thinking about it. At the end of the game, Ben tells Mandy Lynn what a disappointment she was. Brett, VJ, and Pickel only ate healthy food and now have an advantage in the challenge. Mary Alice tells them to put on the workout clothes on their beds and to be in the backyard in an hour.

As they all dress, Angela talks about digesting the food before the challenge. Mandy Lynn decides she’s going to go participate in the challenge even though she can’t win. She finds a box with hair dye in it for her. She is nervous because she’s never dyed her own hair before. Everyone heads to the backyard for the challenge, and Mary Alice is worried about everyone who ate the junk food. Andre says he’s about to throw up.

Mary Alice introduces Gilad, a famous fitness guru. Daniel has a bit of a starstruck moment because he used to watch Gilad with his brother when he was little. Gilad is looking to cast a fitness model for his new workout DVDs. The winner of the challenge will be chosen to come to Hawaii with him at the end of the year and star in his DVDs. Mary Alice tells them they will also be immune from being kicked off. Pickel is worried because he’s not a choreographed fitness type of guy. Mary Alice tells them they will be judged on enthusiasm, stamina, form, and articulation while they work out. VJ starts talking about how great he is. Mary Alice notices Mandy Lynn is there and asks her why. She says it was better than sitting in her room and Mary Alice applauds that.

Gilad starts leading the models in an exercise routine. Pickel talks about how much he’s sweating. Gilad asks Mandy Lynn to count for him and she loses count. Gilad asks Jesse about his extra weight and he says he’s working on it. Gilad teaches them some kickboxing moves and Blonde Rachel says she’s about ready to puke from all the junk food she ate. She was also on her period and had severe cramps. Mandy Lynn says she doesn’t workout and decides she can’t keep up and then goes inside to dye her hair.

Gilad tells them they will each work with him one on one to try to motivate the home audience. Brett wants to go to Hawaii and so he gives his all. Aussie Rachel thinks she’s got a good shot at winning. Blonde Rachel is still having trouble and Jesse has to go slower because of his weight. Daniel gets up there and bounces around a lot. Brett thought his punches were kind of soft. Andre is up next and his anger makes him very much like a drill sergeant according to VJ. Lisa says she felt confident because she’s athletic. Andre thinks Brett will win because he’s always smiling.

Gilad chooses Brett and Aussie Rachel to have a work-off to see who will be the one who gets the job in the DVD. Daniel is upset that he wasn’t chosen. Aussie Rachel and Brett learn a routine from Gilad and then they will have a show down. Aussie Rachel is worried that Brett has more stamina than she does. VJ thinks Aussie Rachel is killing Brett in the challenge. They both do well, but Pickel thinks Aussie Rachel was a natural and should win. Gilad says he would like to pick both, but he chooses Brett because he can only pick one. VJ doesn’t think it’s fair and that he didn’t do well at all and Rachel should have won. Brett overhears VJ tell Daniel Rachel should have won and Brett calls him out about it. VJ thinks he’s a baby for not allowing him to have his opinion. Brett thinks he’s jealous.

Jesse packs up his stuff before elimination. He’s crossing his fingers he makes it through. Meanwhile, Blonde Rachel is complaining about how she was sick because of her period and eating all the junk food. She wants guys to know how it feels to work out on their period. She’s worried she didn’t answer enough questions. Mandy Lynn, now with dark hair, says she’s been fine with making all the changes up to this point and she wants to be there. Everyone likes her hair and Daniel is impressed she was doing all of that and respected her for that. Mandy Lynn said it hit her then that she felt fake with all the changes.

As the models line up for elimination, Jesse admits he’s nervous and he could be going home. Andre says he’s confident and not threatened. Ben congratulates Brett for being safe. Brett says he is going to win. Mary Alice compliments Mandy Lynn on her hair and Ben asks her where she got her outfit. She admits it’s from Victoria’s Secret and says she knows she’s in the bottom and if she’s going to be eliminated, she at least wants to look hot.

Mary Alice calls Andre down. Daniel says he needs to be eliminated. Mary Alice talks to him about everyone not liking him. He says he comes from a different culture and he’s seen the world. His parents are diplomats and Ben is astonished he doesn’t get along with people because diplomats have to get along with others. Andre tells him they taught him to stand up for his beliefs and try to understand other people’s views. Ben asks him if he really thinks he’s tried to understand the others’ beliefs. Andre says they agreed to disagree and Ben says he thinks Andre has bullied them and pushed them around. Andre tells him it’s a lie. Mary Alice tells him she will not tolerate him being disrespectful and also says no one should be disrespectful to him. He tries to interrupt and she tells him to take his anger and use it to work for him and not sabotage him. He tells her she looks amazing and he goes back in line.

Mary Alice calls Jesse, Mandy Lynn, and Blonde Rachel down front. Both Jesse and Mandy Lynn are getting used to being in the bottom. Mary Alice tells Rachel she seems weak and too think, but she’s safe for now. She’s happy to go back and she can still snuggle with VJ. Mary Alice tells Mandy Lynn isn’t as smart as the others, but she’s very smart to have listened to her advice. Mandy Lynn says she’s done changing and is happy with the way she is. Ben tells her she’s got an incredible figure, but as far as being the smartest model, and then his thought is interrupted as she adjusts her boobs. Mary Alice saves him by moving on to Jesse. Ben tells him he’s not answering enough questions correctly and Mary Alice says she’s not convinced he’s a model and he’s got to lose a lot of weight. He becomes emotionally disturbed over people harping on his body image. Mandy Lynn is booted and she thanks them for trying to show her she’s pretty without all the extra makeup and hair. Aussie Rachel says she knew it was her time, but she wasn’t going home defeated. Mandy Lynn says she’s got it and she flaunts it. Mary Alice tells Jesse he’s been warned to work harder. He says he’s usually really strong and confident, but he’s being beaten down about his physical appearance as he cries a bit. He thinks he’s next now that Mandy Lynn is gone. He is determined to push through it.

Next time: it’s Bill Nye the Science Guy! The models are paired up to invent something. They will then have to create a sunless tanning lotion and use it on some “nerds” who will then participate in a photoshoot. This time, Andre butts heads with VJ.

Hogan Knows Best–

The Hogans receive a letter that tells them that Hulk has been honored as Father of the Year for 2007. He’s flattered and the kids tell him it’s a great honor. He asks them why they don’t recognize that and Nick tells him if it weren’t for them he couldn’t be Father of the Year. Linda decides they have to go up to New York to attend the banquet in June. Hulk thinks they should spend a few days in Clearwater with his mom before heading up there.

They get to their Clearwater house and Brooke plays her piano. Hulk works out with Bubba in his gym while Linda visits all of her animals that are still there in Clearwater, including squirrels and crows. Hulk missed his toilet and thinks it’s talking to him. He flushes it for old times’ sake.

Later, Hulk calls his mom’s nursing home and talks with a caregiver about how she’s doing. He tells Hulk she’s on oxygen now. He’s worried about her being like his dad was before he died. He wants to go up by himself first to check things out before the rest of the family goes. Linda talks to the kids about how hard it is to have only one parent left and how you miss them when they are gone.

Hulk gets to the home and a lady in the lobby recognizes him as a famous wrestler. He tells her he’s Gorgeous George and she introduces herself as Jeanie. He then heads to his mom’s room. She tells him he looks great. He helps her get around the room with her oxygen and asks her if her instruments are sex toys. She admonishes him for his mind being in the gutter. He tells her she looks great and hooking up with the younger guys is keeping her young. She admonishes him again as he asks about who she was cozying up to in the home. She tells him his dad was the only one she loved. He tells her about getting the Father of the Year Award in New York and she says she’s proud of him.

Hulk helps his mom go to the store. She needs Depends and he asks if she needs XXXL. He gets what she needs in that department and they get her a toothbrush. She asks him what to get him for Father’s Day and he says nothing. She offers to buy him the cologne his dad used to wear and he says he’d rather have a six pack of beer. She agrees and he goes to get some. She gets a store employee to get her the biggest can of cashews to go with the beer and she also picks out a card for him. He takes her back to the home and says he’ll bring the rest of the family up later that week.

When he comes back to pick her up a few days later, she says she wants to go to Hooters for lunch and dances around as they leave the home. As she gets into the vehicle, she hands Nick a list of things Linda needs to do for her and says she doesn’t want any expensive earrings. They do indeed go to Hooters for lunch and Grandma tells Nick she was just at Hooters yesterday. She complains about being in the hospital and Linda keeps interrupting, so Grandma tells her to shut up because it was making her forget what she was saying. She gives Hulk his father’s day gift and he reads the card out loud. He thanks her for the several cans of cashews.

They decide to drive by the house Hulk grew up in. Grandma refuses to go in, but Hulk gets out of the car and decides to show the kids his house and the guy who owns it now did a lot of great work to it. Brooke says it’s good to see someone is taking care of it now. Grandma says she hates the house and it makes her sad to see it. The new owner of the house takes Hulk inside and gives him a toy truck he found buried in the garden. He tears up as he thinks about playing with it when he was younger. They thank him for the tour and leave.

Back in the car, Linda picked up some creature from the garden and shows Grandma. She tells Linda to throw it out the window. When they get to the jewelry store, Grandma picks out some earrings. They go clothes shopping next and Linda helps her get some bras and a sexy top. Nick tries to pick out some clothes, but Grandma thinks they are ugly and doesn’t want the shoes Brooke picks out either. Linda still has the lizard and Grandma says she doesn’t listen worth a darn. Grandma asks Hulk when they are going to move back to Clearwater and he says to ask Linda. She grumbles about how talking to Linda was like talking to the sky. Linda asks Hulk if he was happy being with his mom. He says he was happy to be with both her and his mom and thanks her for keeping his mom’s cockiness in check. Grandma thanks Linda for helping her get her clothes. They take Grandma back to her home.

Back in their Clearwater house, Hulk is talking about his old toy truck. He thanks Linda for being so gracious with his mom. She thinks it was great to see the old house. Hulk says it was hard to go back there and Linda says she knew the backyard was where they sprinkled his dad’s ashes and that his dad would be really proud of him for being Father of the Year.

They get to New York and head out to the Father of the Year Award ceremony. He says he’s going to share it with Linda for teaching him how to be a good father. They get their pictures taken and then attend the banquet. Linda talks to the kids about how Hulk is nervous. The emcee introduces Hulk and talks about some of his wrestling accomplishments. His family stands and applauds as he makes his way to the podium. He jokes about his hair and his age. He tells the story about going back to his old home with the kids. He gives all credit to Linda and says this award is better than any wrestling title or anything else he’s ever done.

After the ceremony, Nick takes a picture of Hulk with his award to send to Grandma. He talks about how hard it was because he was thinking of his dad. Hulk tells the kids if they think of him as he thinks of his parents, then that means he’s done it right. He says that it’s hard nowadays with marriage not being sacred anymore. He apologizes to them for fighting with Linda a lot and he’s working on it because marriage is hard. Next year he wants to win Husband of the Year.
