Watching VH1

As the current season of CelebReality winds down, VH1 is already starting to hype their new season. Finales have already been aired of America’s Most Smartest Model, The Salt N Pepa Show, Gotti’s Way, and I Love New York 2. The season finale of The Shot airs this weekend and the I Love New York Reunion show will air after a short holiday break.

So what’s on the list for January? Surprisingly enough, Flavor of Love 3 is not on the docket for the newest CelebReality season, even though it should be finished filming already. There are, however, plenty of new seasons of some of your favorite CelebReality shows, as well as some brand new offerings that will begin in January.

Rock of Love 2
Airs January 13, 2008 at 9 PM ET

Since things didn’t work out with Jes, Bret Michaels is back for another shot at finding love with drunken women on stripper poles. That’s right! It’s already time for a second season of Rock of Love starring Bret Michaels. I’m almost amazed at the quick turn around for this season, since the finale of the first season just aired a couple of months ago. They’ve already been able to cast the show and film it? Impressive! Anyway, I can’t wait since the first season was such a trainwreck. I’m hoping they find just as insane women for this season.

Scott Baio is 46…and Pregnant
Airs January 13, 2008 at 10 PM ET

Okay, so Scott isn’t pregnant, but his fiancee Renee is and he has just a few months to figure out what to do with a baby before he becomes a dad. Hilarity is bound to ensue as he figures out diapers and burping as well as how to deal with Johnny V now that he’s decided to settle down and give up the swinging single life. I think it will definitely be an interesting season and I am excited to see him interact more with Renee this time around. There is no word if Doc Ali will make an appearance or help out in any way this season.

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew
Airs January 10, 2008 at 10 PM ET

One of the hottest trends in 2007 seemed to be celebrities heading into rehab for, well, just about anything. This show will follow some “celebs” as they deal with their addictions, aided by Dr. Drew Pinsky (perhaps best known for his stint on LoveLine with Adam Corrola). The list of people they will be featuring reads like a who’s who of CelebReality past and then others I have never heard of. Brigitte Nielsen (Surreal Life, Strange Love, Surreal Life Fame Games), Chyna (Surreal Life, Surreal Life Fame Games), Daniel Baldwin (Celebrity Fit Club), Jeff Conaway (Celebrity Fit Club), Jessica Sierra (American Idol), Jaimee Foxworth, Seth “Shifty” Binzer, Mary Carey (porn star) and Ricco Rodriguez will be battling their demons for the VH1 cameras.

My Fair Brady…Maybe Baby
Airs January 20, 2008 at 10:30 PM ET

Adrienne Curry and Christopher Knight are back for a third season of their CelebReality show. They dated, they got married, so now, logically, they should focus on having a baby, right? Well, easier said than done since the couple has been in counseling for quite some time now. Who knows if their marriage will even last, let alone have a child?

Other programming worth noting is the Critic’s Choice Awards will air on January 7, 2008 starting with a red carpet show at 8 PM ET.
