Help the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation
I am raising money for the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation and I’m asking you to help by making a contribution! I was fortunate enough to interview Rich Cronin (formerly of the group LFO, now starring in Mission: Man Band on VH1) for my blog (it will be posted soon!). He is a great guy who was sadly diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005. Luckily Rich found a bone marrow donor who matched his type through the National Bone Marrow Registry. He has created this foundation to raise money to get more donors on the registry and hopefully save more lives.
I have pledged to walk 100 miles before October and raise funds for this cause. I need your help. Please use the link in this post to donate online quickly & securely. You will receive email confirmation of your donation and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation. I thank you in advance for your support, and really appreciate your generosity!

Please pass on this post to as many people as you can to encourage them to donate as well! You can also join in the cause and pledge to walk and raise money as well. Check out http://www.richcroninhopefoundation.com for more information.
Thanks again for your help!

Awwww you’re so good. With all that you do you’re going to do this as well. At the website they have those rubber bracelets with the sayings on them for $3.00 and the money goes towards the charity.

Thanks, Jillian!
This is a cause I believe strongly in, so it was a no-brainer for me. A girl in my college class was diagnosed with leukemia and I was put on the registry at that time (no matches yet!). I am honored to be able to bring some awareness to the cause, and Rich is so grateful to his finding a donor. I’ve already raised $130 from friends and family so far!
Thanks for the heads up on the bracelets! That’s another great way to support the cause. Also, I gave Rich the idea that they should auction off their bed spreads with their pictures on them from the Mission: Man Band days and Jeff, Chris, and Rich all three loved the idea, so check for those on Ebay soon and bid!

Those bedspreads will definitely get bids
I know the other guys have one– did Chris get one too? I know we’re not going to see too much of his bedroom since that is a private domain. But thats really cool
These guys still have fans and the world will know this when they release an album and it sells.
Ive read that they’re doing a gig in my homestate of Massachusetts in about 2 weeks on the 27th. Did they mention anything about doing shows? I definitely plan on being there that night to show my support
Also one of the great things about Chris doing the show is that we get to see his house. He was scheduled to do an episode of Cribs but there was a hurricane around that time and his yard was damaged so he couldnt. THough Joey went on to do an episode and he has the marionettes in his house hanging up like Chris does

[…] After talking with Rich on the phone, I really wanted to help out his foundation, so I signed up to walk 100 miles and collect pledges (which I am still taking, by the way, if you can donate). I never did get a chance to talk with […]
