I just finished watching the Rock of Love finale, and it certainly delivered! Did you miss the episode? Do you think Bret chose Heather or Jes to continue to Rock his World? The Rock of Love finale airs Sunday night and Bret will have to choose between Heather and Jes to be his “Rock of Love”. However, the rejected girls have started showing up on various red carpets across the country. Enjoy a few pictures of the ladies out and about. There are more pictures after the jump.
The ratings for summer cable series are in and Rock of Love with Bret Michaels made the top 10 for new shows. Coming in at #10, it was only one of three unscripted shows to make the list (History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers came in 4th and LA Ink on TLC was 9th). Averaging 2.06 million viewers per episode, Bret and his beauties had a strong showing for VH1. No wonder there is going to be a season 2! No other VH1 shows made the list.
VH1 reality shows are no strangers to high ratings. Both I Love New York and Charm School delivered some big numbers for the network earlier this year. With the new season of I Love New York coming up in a couple of weeks, those great ratings are sure to continue.
The Rock of Love had a clips show this week of never before seen footage. I’m not big on recapping recaps, but if you’re interested to see what happened, Christina over at RealityShack has your recap for you. There was also an extra footage show of The Pickup Artist of the actual lessons that Mystery gave to the guys, along with his “Mystery Mail” segments that can be seen online. It was definitely interesting, but didn’t really make an impact on the results of the show, so I didn’t recap that one, either. I did enjoy it, though, so you should catch it in reruns if you can.
However, Hogan Knows Best was new this week and I have your recap for you after the jump.
I found an interesting video clip for you guys having to do with Rock of Love. This clip is Mia and Jes talking on a Chicago radio station back when the show first started. Notice Jes’s reaction when the DJ’s asked her if they went on the show to fall in love or for exposure. What do you guys think? Is this a clue as to whether or not she won? Bret Michaels has narrowed it down to his final two–Heather and Jes. Let’s take a look back at Watching VH1’s Rock of Love coverage before the finale airs.
First of all, Heather was on the Surreal Life and I brought you proof via video! I don’t necessarily think it means she was trying to sleep with Vanilla Ice since he was ranting about strippers and whore houses, but Brandi was correct when she told Bret Heather had indeed been on the Surreal Life.

Did Bret Michaels really find his true love this season? I guess we won’t know until after the finale is aired. What we do know, however, is that there will be a second season of Rock of Love (or a similar show). Idolator.com is reporting casting has started for another round of this reality show. According to the article, casting crews are looking for the following:
“girls 21+, single and who are looking to win the love of the rock star of their dreams”
There is no mention of whether or not the guy looking for love will be Bret Michaels again, but the casting notice has the exact same wording as the casting call for the current season:
“someone that makes the girls wild and girls would do anything just to meet this guy, a Tommy Lee type of rocker” who wants “hardcore rocker chicks, tattooed, big hair, drinks beer, rockin body.”

The previews for next week’s Rock of Love shows Heather writing a letter to Bret about all of the girls in the house. When Bret confronts them, Brandi M. tells him that Heather was on the Surreal Life trying to sleep with Vanilla Ice. Is this true or just a ploy to get rid of Heather? Well, I’ve done my best to find out.
I, of course, remember the infamous “This looks like a whore house” breakdown Vanilla Ice (Rob Van Winkle) had during The Surreal Life: Fame Games season. I figured that was the place to start looking since he was upset that a stripper was on his bed when he came to his room. I was disappointed, at first, to see that the stripper in his bed was NOT Heather. However, Heather does appear later in the clip in the background (when Brigitte joins in the argument). Check it out.
Considering Heather doesn’t even come into the picture until Rob is already ranting and raving about the whore house, I doubt she actually slept with Rob. It isn’t necessarily out of the question, though, that something happened with another cast member (maybe Ron Jeremy?). Let’s not jump to conclusions about Heather or her sexual conquests. What is clear from this clip is that she was definitely on the show and this could lead Bret to believe her intentions of being on his show are more for fame and less for him. I guess we’ll just have to see how it all plays out this week on Rock of Love.
