Celebrity Rehab Show on VH1?

Just when you think CelebReality can’t sink any lower, Perez Hilton is reporting that VH1 is developing a new show called “Celebrity Rehab” being filmed in a Pasadena facility. Perez Sez the cast could include:

former wrestler Chyna (pictured above), porn star Mary Carey, Tom Sizemore, MTV Real World alum Puck and former actress Brigitte Nielsen.

However, some of these names are unlikely. Tom Sizemore is in jail, and Birgitte Nielsen just finished a stint in rehab. Perez also reports that Puck is no longer involved with the show.

I suppose with so many stars heading to rehab, VH1 has to go to them to create shows rather than bringing them into the Surreal Life house. No word if Lindsey Lohan or Britney Spears will join the cast. Now I just wonder what they are going to do in the Surreal Life house with all of these rehabbed celebs. Rubber chicken shots will be no more.

Gossip GangSTAR Gets Show on VH1

Perez Hilton, self proclaimed “Queen of All Media”, announced on his website last Friday that he has signed a deal with VH1 for a series of specials based on his celebrity gossip blog. The new show is set to debut in September and should be an interesting addition to the CelebReality lineup.

Perez describes his new show on his blog:

The show will be a fun, fresh way of looking at the wacky world of celebrities and interacting with them. It will be like PerezHilton.com come to life, but even juicier.

Juicier? Than the blog? Wow. We are in for some snarky, nasty, trashy talk with this new show. I, personally, read Perez’s blog often, but others are completely put off by his tone and “meanness” to the celebrities. However, it would seem Perez would be a perfect fit on a channel that boasts crazy cat fights over rappers who wear clocks. I will give this show a shot, will you? Let me know in the comments.
