*Insert Fangirl Shriek Here* Last week, I was lucky enough to talk to the guys from Sureshot on VH1’s Mission: Man Band in an exclusive interview for this blog. I’ll bring you one of my interviews each day this week in both podcast and transcript formats. I interviewed Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Chris Kirkpatrick (NSync), and Rich Cronin (LFO). Bryan Abrams was unavailable for an interview because his wife was having their baby, so congrats, Bryan!

Hogan may know best, but his daughter Brooke is popping up everywhere recently. There has been much speculation on whether or not Brooke has had breast augmentation recently since she seems to be filling out her bikini top a little more fully now. There has been no official word from the Hogan camp on this latest, uh, development.

Brooke’s agent has also announced a mall tour for the up and coming singer, which started last week. Not since Tiffany in the 80s have we seen this type of marketing come to fruition, so keep your fingers crossed Brooke can pull it off and cause a frenzy outside of the Orange Julius. Here is a list of her currently scheduled appearances:

Still not enough Brooke Hogan for you? Well, the fourth season of “Hogan Knows Best” on VH1 premieres this Sunday, July 22nd at noon. The drama seems to be increased this year with talk of divorce (as reported here in an earlier story). Do you think Hulk and Linda are really in trouble, or is it just hype for the new season? I apologize for not having content up yet today, but the TV Schedule will be up shortly. I was out of town this weekend, so I haven’t yet watched the new episodes of “Celebrity Fit Club” and “Charm School”, but I will do that today and get the recaps up ASAP.

Can you handle yet another awards show? Well, VH1 hopes you can. The television station has just inked a three year deal with the Critics’ Choice Awards to air their yearly awards ceremony. Instead of taping and editing the show as the WB and E! Channel have done in the past, the awards will air live on VH1. Next year’s show will air on January 7, 2008 in Santa Monica, CA.

For those of you not familiar with the CCA, Reuter’s describes it as such:

The Critics’ Choice Awards, founded in 1995, annually honors achievements in filmmaking and is touted as the first major awards show of the season. The BFCA claims that it consistently picks nominees and winners that go on to garner more Oscar nominations and wins than any other of the movie awards shows, last year picking 30 of the 35 nominees and six of the Oscar winners in the top seven categories, including best picture, acting, directing and writing. The show also is attended by a range of high-profile talent.

VH1 is hoping to expand the show by including elements on VH1.com and also Mobile alerts. The goal is to keep the awards show fresh on the minds of viewers year-round.

Maxim Magazine, in conjunction with VH1, presents “Maxim’s Hot 100″ which will air several times this week on VH1. Beauties such as Lost’s Evangeline Lilly, Rebecca Romijn (pictured), Rachel Bilson, and Christina Aguilera all made the list once again, as well as some new up and coming hotties.

With exclusive interviews and cool behind-the-scenes footage, you’ll get a chance to see these celebrity superwomen let their hair down and hear what it’s like to be among the most scorchingly hot females on the planet. The ladies will share some very personal and often hilarious information in our series of freewheeling interviews and on-location adventures.

Comedy Central has chosen the “victim” of this year’s Comedy Roast, and it’s VH1 bad boy FLA-VOR FLAV! The show will tape in July and be aired in August of this year. With so many crazy things about Flav to choose from, the Roast should turn out to be hilariously accurate. Here is a snippet of what The Showbuzz is reporting:

“We only roast the ones we love — and the world is clearly crazy about this guy,” said Elizabeth Porter, senior vice president of specials and talent for Comedy Central.

No word as of yet if any of the “Flavor of Love” girls will be participating. I’m also hoping for cameos from Brigitte and the rest of his “Surreal Life” castmates. It’s inevitable that the show will be raunchy and explicit, so make sure the kids are in bed before you watch!
