Back before Jessica Sierra got into trouble and went on Celebrity Rehab, she had a singing career…at least she sort of did. Here is her video for one of her singles “Unbroken”.

First of all, I have no idea what most of these people have to do with music or celebrating the greatest music artists out there, but who cares? They’ve all got shows to promote on VH1, and that’s what’s important, right? There were all kinds of CelebReality stars out and about at the Grammy Awards and the parties leading up to the ceremony and also into the wee hours of the night at the after parties. Hopefully, those Celebrity Rehab stars didn’t fall off the wagon with all of the celebrating!

So I’ve watched the prior two weeks of this show and in my opinion, it’s turning into the Jeff Conway Rehab Show (and other people who aren’t so bad off…). Not that Jeff isn’t compelling with his seizures, crazy ramblings, and inability to pee standing up by himself, but he’s not the only one who needs help. Have we even seen Jamie this whole show besides sittings silently at group sessions? Didn’t Dr. Drew say Marijuana rehab is especially tough?

Now we throw the new guy into the mix. Why is he late? Was his Ultimate Fighting Schedule just so unbendable that he missed the first couple of hard days of rehab? His attitude really sucks, too. He shouldn’t even be there because he’s still in the denial stage. I thought the road to recovery only started after admitting the problem? If he’s unwilling to even admit he has a problem (even though a judge told him he had to be there to be able to see his kids), then I don’t think even the magical Dr. Drew can help him out. He’s kind of a waste of space and definitely a waste of air time.

So tonight’s new episode centers around sex. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of Mary Carey in this episode. Several of them are going to discuss their past sexual abuses, which could be compelling. Hopefully that will give us a break from Jeff and the new guy for at least one episode.

So I am watching Celebrity Rehab, just as you are, I imagine. I wish I had time, but I honestly don’t have time to keep up with recapping the show since it’s on Thursdays. Instead, I’ve decided I’ll just post some opinions and thoughts about the episodes as they air. There is a new episode airing tonight, but I’ll start at the beginning with the premiere episode that aired last week. There were some big messes and some that were interestingly pretty sane for a show called Celebrity Rehab.

Will the new season of CelebReality EVER get here? This week sure is seeming to drag on and on, don’t you think? Well, while we’re waiting, let’s look around at the gossip surrounding our favorite VH1 CelebReality stars.

New York and Tailor Made Still Going Strong

So we know that Tailor Made and New York got engaged on the reunion show (thank goodness she’s not pregnant!), but there had been rumors floating around some internet message boards this week that they had broken up after the airing of the finale and it was all just a show until that was over. Not true, says a VH1 spokesperson. They are still together, in love, and there will be no I Love New York 3. Good for them! Let’s just hope there isn’t a reality show for Sister Patterson and Champion. Brooke Hogan, Dancing Queen?

There has been lots of talk about Brooke Hogan trying to lobby her way onto the next season of Dancing With the Stars. Hulk Hogan himself confirmed that she did indeed try out for the show, but there is no official cast list as of yet. He also mentioned in a Newsweek article that she may get her own spin off of the CelebReality hit Hogan Knows Best. The show is currently halted do to the pending divorce of Hulk and Linda and Nick Hogan’s current legal troubles.

Jessica Sierra May Be in Rehab Forever

Celebrity Rehab doesn’t begin airing until tomorrow on VH1, but we already know that one participant, former American Idol contestant Jessica Sierra, didn’t learn her lesson from Dr. Drew on the show. Sierra has been in jail since December 1st after being arrested in Florida for drug possession, among other things. The pregnant jailbird got a reprieve earlier in the week, though, when the judge agreed to release Jessica into the custody of Dr. Drew as long as she spent an entire year in his rehab facility in California, followed by three years’ probation. However, she was about to board the plane when she got word that the state of California Department of Probation denied her transfer, and so she cannot leave Florida. She is due back in court to figure out what can be done about her situation since she is not allowed to attend the rehab center in California.

2007 has not been a good year for former American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra. She was poised to clean up her life by joining the cast of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, which will begin airing in January. Unfortunately, we already know the outcome for Sierra before the show even begins its run on the cable network.

First of all, Jessica was arrested earlier this month for disorderly intoxication, violation of probation, and obstruction of justice. She was on probation from an earlier arrest involving drugs, which led her to joining the cast of Celebrity Rehab. Soon after her arrest, her luck got worse when a recording of a phone call from Jessica in jail to her aunt surfaced in which she called the police who arrested her “crackers”. When she pleaded not guilty, she was forced to remain in prison until her next hearing.

While in jail, Sierra then learned a major pornography producer had obtained a sex tape of her and was planning on releasing it before the end of the year (just in time for the launch of American Idol’s new season in January). She did however, get Dr. Drew Pinsky, the resident expert on Celebrity Rehab to agree to testify on her behalf at her next court date.

The news on Jessica Sierra doesn’t end there, however. It was announced today that Jessica is now pregnant. The father is said to be a rapper, but no other details were given. She is very happy with the news and has been moved to the infirmary of Falkenburg Road Jail in Florida and been put on what was called a “pregnancy diet”. She is still in jail with no date for release.
