By the Numbers–Charm School Finale Boosts Ratings
This past weekend we saw Saaphyri take home the $50,000 grand prize on the finale of Charm School on VH1. Well, apparently, we aren’t the only ones who tuned in to see which of the Flavor of Love girls would come away richer. The ratings are in from this weekend’s shows, and the Charm School finale drew 4.1 million viewers on Sunday night. That number is down from the show’s premiere (5.1 million), but it was enough to make the show VH1’s third most viewed series ever. The Concert for Diana also drew decent ratings for the cable network, seeing an average of 1.4 million viewers throughout the day long live broadcast.
With numbers like that, it is inevitable that Charm School will be back for another season. Where are they going to get such compelling characters to take part, though? Will VH1 have a male version for the I Love New York guys? Maybe they’ll wait until after Rock of Love raps and take some of the Bret Michael groupies for a lesson or two.
What do you think? What group should be the next one to learn from Mo’Nique and improve their etiquette? Leave some comments!

I think they should have teens like ages 13-15 or something because it would give kids something to do and others something to watch. And also, a kid can be interesting if you really watch them.I recently visited a middle school I once attended and if cameras were in there i tell you the rating would have been double the ratings of this season. And…they need help in the world today.
