2007–The Year of Reunion Tours

police.jpgEverything old is new again. Everything retro is hot. Music is no exception to this rule and there are some great groups reuniting for tours in 2007. Obviously, the biggest news lately has been the Spice Girls reunion, complete with a Greatest Hits CD. I wonder, however, if they are going to wear those silly “costumes” and personas now that they are all grown up.

Of course, Bret Michaels (star of VH1’s new series Rock of Love) and Poison are also making the rounds this summer, as are the newly reunited (at the VH1 Rock Honors show) Genesis. Other great bands from the 80s like The Police, Wham!, Rage Against the Machine, and (most of) The Cars are also hitting the stage for a new tour.

This is a great time for some live retro music, so check out the concerts page at VH1.com to find out when these, and other great reunited acts, are playing in your area.
